As a Umma-centric institution, the Centre for Islamic Knowledge (CIK) is committed to cultivating meaningful partnerships with leading educational institutions across the Muslim world. As part of those ongoing efforts, on Tuesday, July 15, 2025 (20 Muharram 1447), the International Islamic University Islamabad (IIUI) and CIK co-hosted a Roundtable Discussion on Studying Islam in the Contemporary Context at the landmark Faisal Masjid Campus, adjacent to the iconic Faisal Mosque in Islamabad.
The session was co-chaired by Ustadh Amir Abu Ghudda (Associate Editor, Ihya’ Journal of Islamic Thought; Board Member, Centre for Islamic Knowledge) and Prof. Dr. Muhammad Akram (Professor of Comparative Religions, IIUI; Chevening Fellow, Oxford Centre for Islamic Studies; Director-General, Sharīʿah Academy, IIUI).
