Alḥamdulillāh, as part of the Centre for Islamic Knowledge’s ongoing efforts to contribute to the intellectual flourishing of the Umma, we were honoured to participate in the 10th Annual British Association for Islamic Studies (BRAIS) Conference, held at the University of Cambridge. Widely recognized as the foremost academic gathering for the study of Islam in Western Europe, the BRAIS Conference convenes leading scholars and emerging voices from across the world.
The conference opened with the CIK-sponsored keynote panel, “The Khaldunian Dialectic: Between Power and Morality,” featuring two distinguished intellectuals: Professor Syed Farid Alatas (National University of Singapore) and Professor Recep Şentürk (Hamad Bin Khalifa University).
